A Slight Monkey Wrench...

Hello lovely little bloggerly family :). Tragically, I do not have any photos to post today but that's what this post is all about. It's just a heads up that it may be a teensy while before I'm able to upload anymore pictures. For some reason, my computer decided to be weirdy and not read my camera's memory card...rude right?! I think so too. It still works just fine in my camera, but as of yet, I can't get the photos transferred from the card, to my computer (where all my awesome little editing software and such is..), to here! -sigh-...hopefully I'll get this figured out soon. 

But yeah, until then- KEEP BEING FABULOUS! :D

Heber Valley Camp 2012

Happy Heber Valley Camp-ness!!! The last time we embarked on this lovely excursion was 4 YEARS AGO!! Ahh! Shocking really. I can't get over how fast time flies and how much life both changes and stays the same! Weirdness :). Anywho, I was enthralled by the beauty of the trees, sunshine, grasses, mountains, sky, flowers, insects(just kidding) you name it!! The weather was perfection, we had wonderful company and it was great to get away. 

So...funny-ness of the day- Check out these two photos. The first one was taken this past weekend on our way up to Heber.

And.. this next one was taken 4 YEARS AGO while making the SAME trip. Whaaattt??? I know, I know. I think I pretty much look the same although little bro has changed a ton! (Unfortunately you can't really tell b/c he just had to go and cover his face ;). BUT, check out the third photo.

Haha!! Oh my tiny-ness!!!!! Oh he's just adorable :). Okay, now onto more recent photos ;)

I love the emotion this captures. It wasn't staged at all, but luckily I managed to sneak up and immortalize the moment.:)

There's part of our camping party! This was taken on the lovely little hike that we took. My bro and I went up some stair-ish things at the campsite and suddenly BAM! We were in a big field thing that was gorgeous. A trail was soon discovered and off we went for the next little while! Beautimous.

Haha! My brother took these photos of me. If you were to just see the last picture, you may think I have an unbreakable concentration and ability to commune with nature...combine the other two photos and you get the REAL story ;). I think I was being attacked by something...

Grandmotherly Love.

Ask me to help babysit and sure enough, my camera will find a way to tag along and be put to good use. :) Such is the occurrence that happened today when I helped watch my niece and nephew. I was able to capture some precious moments of baby and Grandma as well as put together a DARLING little area to take some more photos of my niece. Success :)

Oh my Mommy is just the most beautiful-est EVER! :D 

Had to sneak in a quick shot of this little guy. He'd just woken up from a nap :).

I love these! I knew that I wanted to take some photos of Madelyn with a giant bow around her head, but I didn't quite know where to place her. I was originally thinking in another basket, but when I went in her bedroom- bam! This little beauty of a dresser caught my attention :). I found the darling crocheted blanket nearby and the rest is history!

Baby Aaron

The other day, I had the opportunity to photograph one of my very best friend's new baby! At just over a month old, little Aaron was an absolute doll! He was sooo easy to work with and positively adorable!!! I think he had the biggest, bluest, eyes I've ever seen and was such a sweetheart. Becca is a darling new mommy and I loved getting to document her with her baby :).

P.S. I have now entered the wild and wonderful world of...collages. I LOVE seeing the photos side by side, so different and yet so similar!

What did I tell you about the eyes?? So gosh darn cute!

Always a fan of the cougar-pride. I firmly believe that it's never too young to start educating your child on such matters....;)
